Thanks for stopping by to check out my 1925 Ford Model TT truck!
I have dreamp about a truck like this for years, now I get to realize my dream!

A Royce Moto-Meter back-lit temperature indicating radiator cap!
(I have all of the new insides for it)
So let me start the story here...
In 1998 or 99 I was driving on a back road not too far from home with my dad when I spotted what I thought was a Ford model TT truck more the 3/4 of a kilometer in this field, as we went past my dad figured it was just a small shed due to the shape of the cab... we went on and basically forgot about it for many years... till late 2007 when we ended up on the same road, and I again saw the truck, but this tie so did my dad and it was easy to convince him that we should go to the farm.
(it's in this photo...)

At the farm we met the trucks second original owner, he had owned it since the late 30's with his brother.
To make a long story a little shorter, within a year we had struck a deal, and I came to get the truck... the former owner had to say goodbye, it had been a good truck to him and his brother!

Chopping the tall T in photoshop for fun, the real truck is going to be a full restoration!

This is basically where the truck sat since the 50's, sadly the kids knocked out all the gladd and head lights long ago...

The brother used a tractor to push the TT (with me behind the wheel) up onto my trailer deck!

Once on the deck I used jack stands to keep the truck off of the brittle wood spoked wheels, and then strapped it down tight...

It was a hell of a site to be blasting down the back roads home with the TT in tow!

My trusty 1982 Ford F150 Ranger Lariat XLT, this truck has been to hell and back with me for the last decade!

(Left photo) As you can see I always put a safety strap on my hood when I haul a vintage car or truck, it gives a lot of piece of mind. (I recommend this, but be sure to strap across the hood from fender to fender, never to the trailer as any bumps will either break the strap or destroy the hood)
(Right photo) i took the truck to the car wash first thing, and I removed a lot of glass, debris and dirt, also dried grease off the sides of the engine that was 4 inches thick in places! (as you can see by the floor)

My TT is always a happy TT!

I wold like to find a better hood for it.
I am having the radiator rebuilt soon.

The cab is very solid on this truck, I am in need of a replacement seat bottom for it thoguh, and you can see the auxillary fuel tank that was installed by the original owner. (the original tank is below the seat)

The Amp gauge is not original.

Every inch of the truck has been muraled with "Dog patch" characters for a parade it was in in the early 50's.

There's a naked lady on the back of the cab, can you spot her! LOL

I'm still trying to figure out what it says on the hood...

The fenders are suprisingly good for a TT truck, one has a minor bend, and the other has a small tear that has been welded many years ago.
It took a lot to get the doors open due to the latches being siezed.
If you look in the photo on the left I mocked up a rear fender and running board extension as a peak at things to come.

I found this cool little TT die-cast in the same configuration of the truck!

The TT is right at home with my 31 Pontiac, and my 36 GMC Rat Rod Tow Truck!

Toby!

Toby was abandonned on my doorstep last year, she has fit in really well in her time here.
She shows signs of abuse and neglect, and has had her shoulder broken at some point, but she is safe now in a loving home!

Nothing like a nighttime shot, it looks ominous and evil!
