This car was given to me by a friend on Dec. 22 2008 for free, merry Xmas! It was in need of an alternator and leaked gas from the return line, so when we got her home I tackled those two things. Next is going to be all the smaller details, this is a good car for me to tool around in and get to school, since my awesome Spirit was wrecked I have to settle for something quite slower and uglier.
Can't complain for free though. The things I have repaired/replaced so far are:
-Used alternator installed
-Fuel level sending unit
-Patch some gas lines
-Both front balljoints
-2 new tires
-Replaced head gasket, swapped on a low mileage head and cast TBI valve cover
-Power steering pressure hose, patch return line
-Driver side fender and door swap, old ones were about falling off
Update March 9 - rear hatch replaced, new fender and door plus some spray paint for a custom touch. The head gasket install went smoothly as well.
