Out for a fall drive...
Ok, here we go...This automobile was purchased new in north Texas by my aunt's uncle. White Grey with Dark Green MB Tex interior. His wife drove the car mostly through the seventies and early eighties. Due to some health issues that uncle sold it to my uncle sometime in the ninties for a $1+.

My uncle brought to Mississippi and cared for it until he passed away a couple of years ago. My aunt did not want to sell the car, so she asked if I would like to have it. Of course being the gearhead I am, I said Yes. It had sat outside over winter when I picked it up.

I have gradually tuned up everything, replaced anything that was missing, even have my I-pod playing through the factory 39 year-old Becker radio & speaker, brought the original paint back to a brilliant shine and drive it weekly, weather permitting. The fuel injected straight six is strong and smooth, tha A/C will blow ice cubes (thanks to the help of my dad!) Just over 100,000 miles now and still one of the best riding cars ever, just needs an overdrive gear. Even without the overdrive I just took 300+ mile weekend trip and averaged 19+MPG on 93 octane with lead additive!

Let me know if you want to know more.
