Well, here is my '83 533i.  Someday soon to become a Euro model with the addition of the European type chrome bumpers and Euro valance (and a whole bunch of other new BMW factory Euro parts) which are setting in my shed.  The car was purchased new in Winston-Salem North Carolina in the summer of 1983 by Bob (an owner of several area jewelry stores).  He over maintained the car- lots and lots of valve adjustments, oil and fluid changes, and various tires.  He put on the Zender front spoiler (now off), Zender trunklid spoiler (now off and replaced with BMW OEM M5 spoiler), Epsilon 3 piece 16" wheels (now off and setting in my shed waiting for disassembly for refinishing, BMW 17" forged M System II Throwing star wheels wish polished rims now on it), Strahmann exhaust system (still on it and it sounds just perfect), a 3.73:1 limited slip diff, etc.  Bob put about 170,000 miles on it, and then sold it to my good friend Mike in 2000.  I went to Bob's house with Mike to get the car.  Bob was (and is) a great guy and a car and motorcycle nut.  Mike put another 100,000 miles on it and many repairs and services along the way (including a new gas tank, fuel hard lines, brake hard lines, etc.)  Mike moved up his daily driver from the 533i to a 2004 Infiniti M45, and sold me the 533i in the summer of 2008.  Just before getting it, a rebuilt ECU was installed.  Since I got it, I've put a new heater core in it (the old one started to leak last spring, so Mike had it blocked off), a new dashboard (the original was sun cracked), a Nardi Classico 390mm diameter mahogany steering wheel (the original 3 spoke BMW wheel was just unattractive), BMW forged M System throwing star wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires, new sensors, new door rubber, new windshield washer system, etc.  The car has never been wrecked and sports original gloss black paint.
