History

This car is originally from California, I picked up from a local in Calgary. It isn't a HICAS. Bought it for $5000. Had 168xxx MILES when I grabbed it. It's in pretty ace condition, bit of rust here and there. Again, it's over 16 years old. It won't be perfect, right?

I'm currently driving it... through winter. Yes, bad me. I am looking at getting a winter car ASAP so I can park it for the season. I only have pictures from the site he had it listed on for sale, so I am just using those for the time being until I get some (again, when it's not cold and snowy but sunny and warm).

I named it Alex, it's after a LOST character I am in love with. Yes, I am a dork.

My goals

Well, as far as cosmetics go except for minor things (I would like to paint it another color in the future, thinking about a grey or something). I am going to keep it completely stock (not throwing on any rims, body kits and all that jibber jabber). I want to show the true beauty of what the car already is. Just like anyone with the KA24DE engine, I would like to swap it in the future. Another one of them guys who want to throw an SR20DET in it.

Before that, I would like to replace and throw some aftermarket preformance parts than I can use along with the SR20 when the time comes. Not sure what, and where. I'm a rookie and new to this game, so I will more likely ask others for advice. And when shopping times come, I'll have some to help me spend along the way so I don't make any fatal mistakes.
