When I bought my 1985 Firebird S/E it was a 2.8 Lt V6 (standard S/E) with a five speed transmission and ran great. The burnout pics on page 4 were done with the V6, thus blowing a radiator hose, overheating and throwing a rod. Silly Me. I then took it upon myself to trade in an 84 Z28 that I had at the time for an engine swap. A 4.7 350 Throttle body and tranny to match. Since 2005 when I left for the army it has sat and rotted away, now that I'm out and starting Auto Tech schooling in Aug I will take every opportunity I have to refurbish it. Below is how it sits now, two flat tires, covered in dust and full of pieces that arent where they should be. Blue Bird will rise again, someday. slytlydisturbed's 1985 Pontiac Firebird
