So I had an issue with the car and now Im starting new. It definitely sucks when unforseen issues causing catastrophic failures. Im definitely going to miss my first cougar but at the same time it brings on a start to unlimited possibilities. So without further hesitation let me begin. When I got back to the states in Dec. of 2010, I was happy as could be to get back to my car. I worked on it for a few months and after about a year I had a flat and started to jack the car up. When I did the entire floor started peeling up as I jack the car up because the underneath side had rusted out completely to the point there was nothing solid under the car anymore. We looked under to find out if it was salvageable but it would have cost more then buying a new car to fix. So I did what everyone does when they need a new car. I started searching everywhere I could, car traders, Ebay, online sites. Finally on craigslist I run across a 99 Cougar. It was black and had around 120K miles on it. The guy wanted 700 bucks for it because he thought the motor mounts needed replaced and someone had stolen the wheels off of it. Needless to say I jumped on it and now own the car.
