2/6/09-Finally removed the back seat and all the mounting brackets. Also the stupid worthless cupholder piece of shit got taken out, as well as the sun visors.

Here's the Alpine iDA-X100 installed, sounds much better than the stock radio, and looks a lot better too. Also the new carbon fiber shifter from turnermotorsports.com, It's supposed to add like 34 whp or some shit.  Notice I removed the separator loops from the toggle bar. The whole thing is getting tossed anyway, and the switches are being relocated so i figured why not. Those things were annoying anyway.

Prestonshadu's 2004 MINI CooperThe current dash setup-working on the new designs now. This is a far flung future project-I can't start this until I have two things....A garage of my own and another car...In the meantime I'm gonna start with audio setup in the back, then progress to the new door panels then the new lower dash console.  Hopefully i can accomplish all that without sacrificing the usable part of the car-you know, driving.

Prestonshadu's 2004 MINI Cooper2/9/09-The new headliner is going to be a fiberglass mold with a carbon fiber layover, I've already found a company that will do the job.  I have to decide on the curtain airbags though. If i choose to keep them, I'll have to make a 3 piece headliner. If not, I just toss the fuckers and make one big carbon fiber piece of badassness. Ya dig?

Nice start. I was wondering about the rubber mats...are they even worth it? As for agreement/disagreement you were asking for, I like the fact that there is no armrests. I find it easier to reach across the vehicle or into the back. I do wish the cupholders were bigger though. I like all the chrome you are using. I am doing a chrome/black mix. I really dig the interiors of the minis so I will only accent the interior. I do plan on adding some tv's and such on down the line though. Feel free to message me if you wanna chat about mini's. I've only had mine 2 weeks, but I have big plans for it.
