This is the oil feed line... I tapped into the back of my block and teed off so i can keep the stock oil pressure switch on straight ; )
This is the return line from my turbo to my oil pan... Twas a pain to doo
This is my OBX FMU... I purchased it off ebay but the lines were threaded instead of having a nipple end like the vortechs... Couldnt find the female ends at home depot so i headed over to a local Performance Improvements and purchased Russel fittings..
My turbo was used when i bought it soooo.. Steel brushed it with varsol ; ) , primed and painted that shiat... Looked great btw
Took this pic right after i installed the turbo... Looked prettay saweet
This was my stock fuel pump in its housing.... The Walbro pump is on the right
This was right after I installed my intercooler... Yeahh.. It lookes a little uneven in the pic.. but leveled it nd now its all goodd
I just installed my gauges... Got them from glowshift.... Tinted Series
These are the finished pics. I had just installed my turbo timer aswell... I picked up an HKS type 1 timer off of kijiji for 60 bucks... Didnt include the harness tho... I went to speedtech and ordered an HKS MT-6 plug and play harness which worked out really well.. Made the installation much easier
I'm almost finished my piping... I was short one coupler so il pick that up tomorrow from a performance improvement shop
The hahn kit i bought off ebay came with piping designed for a side mount intercooler instead of a front... I thought i was going to be spending a bunch of money on the piping just cause i wanted 2 1/4 staneless steel.... Lucky for my the Barrie Automotive Flea market was the same weekend = ) ... I picked a bunch of piping for only $5 per bend... + the guy gave me a discount cause i was a student... Worked out well
I started taking apart the interior so i can fit my new carpet in.. I got a ordered a royal black carpet from custom auto carpets on ebay.... Great quality and fit.. I did have to modify it a bit tho
Now that the center console was out I decided to replace the stock shifter as well with a knock-off B&M short throw shifter that i bought off of ebay... It reduced the short throw by almost half
I just took the stock carpet out and put it over the aftermarket one to see how it fit..
This is what it looked like when i first placed it in.. I had some trimming to do in order for the door sills and console to fit.. I also had to cut a few holes for the chair mounts, seat belts etc
The before and after..
I just put the first seat in and finished installing most of the panels
Finished = ) I also switched the the gross grey cloth rear seats with the black leather ones from a 98 GSX.. and i have awesome advice for anyone that wants a clean, new looking, awesome interior.. CARPET swap.. Best thing ever.. I was so surprised how much the carpet changed / enhanced my interior... Looks like a brand new car + even smells like one = )
This is right after i put the bumper on.. I didnt have to trim the bumper at all.. I had JUST enough room for the intercooler to fit
Finally drove it out of my garage..
