Here are some shots of the newest build. This is a 1964 Buick Riviera "Super Wildcat." Super Wildcat means it is equipped with dual Carter four barrell carbs. Only 2122 were built this way. I bought it out of Arkansas. I was in the right place at the right time and made a pretty good deal on the car. There were quite a few people trying to snatch it away from me, but Ryno got there in the nick of time to pick it up and bring it back to R&R Classics in Joplin MO. Ryan Lieberman of R&R will be handling the entire build of this car. "Ryno" was there the first time around, about 4 years ago, when I purchased my first 64 Rivi, sight unseen. It turned out to be a bit rougher than I imagined. This car is still in the picture. It is in the capable hands of my brother, Rob Drew, of Drew Brothers Customs. I ended up buying the Catalina so I would have a driver for winter of 06. That's another story though.

So whats the plan with this car??? I've always wanted a SUPER CLEAN Riviera driver. That is the plan with this car. It will not be a "show" car, but I will drive it to as many shows as I can. Now, there is certainly no shortage of BAD ASS Rivieras out there and this car will probably end up looking like many of them. Ryno got it back to MO and checked it out on the lift pretty thoroughly. The car looks really good.

-Floors are completely gone and that was the first thing to be tackled. Instead of buying all the floor pieces available, Ryno just fabricated everything he needed. Basically replacing the entire floor, front to back.

-Next, he tackled the brakes. Complete rebuild and a dual master cylinder.

-Car is now being completely disassembled for paint. Body looks real good. Some prior repair in the rt qtr panel. Looks much better than I expected. As of now, my intention is to go classic white with a silver flake roof. Probably a lite flake, no bassboat sparkle! I'm thinking some tastefull pinstripe on the hood, decklid, and maybe the sail panels.

-Interior is gonna be all new setup from Clarks Corvair Parts. I'm ABSOLUTELY COPYING this Rivi from the HAMB....and for good reason...if my car looks half as good as this one, I'll be a happy guy. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=293538&highlight=63+riviera

To find the dual quads on a 1966 Riv Gs is very rare. Most '66 GS Riv were four barrels. From what I read in Hemmings Muscle Machines mag, if you find a dual quad 1966 GS Riv, it adds a $10,000 perium to the car.
