GET THIS!
AMSOIL is not only one of the best oils you can buy for maintaining your vehicle, no other oil manufacturer can gaurantee 25,000 miles or 1 year on one oil change with use of their oil and filter. Let's do the simple math.
Conventional Oil
3,000 miles or 3 months means you change your oil at least 4 times a year. Say every oil change is 20 bucks if you you do it yourself. 4 times 10 is 80 bucks a year.
AMSOIL Synthetic Oil
Once a year. 5 quarts is around 40, plus about an average of 15 dollars a filter equals 55 bucks. Huh, 55...80, which would you rather spend. Plus...
