SOLD!
I sold it today, 7/8/2009 to a used car dealer here in town.
I got exactly what I wanted for it. He was impressed with the quality for its age. This message brought to you by Eagle One Wax-as-you-Dry and Mothers Back to Black as well as some trusted Advance Auto Parts Tire Cleaner.

Although no longer mine, you can feel free to read on about its great achievements.
You may be asking yourself "Are my eyes decieving me? Is all that achievement wrapped into one beautiful collector car?" The answer is yes, my friends. So great the list of accomplishments this car has, the only rational name for it was clearly "Achieva." Sounds beautiful to the ears doesn't it? Don't worry--more pictures coming soon!
This particular Achieva is a 1998, the last year in production. It is the mechanical twin of the Grand Am and Buick Skylark. This achieva is an SL 4 door with the larger engine option, the screaming fast world renown 3.1 liter 60 degree V6. Nothing says performance like a front wheel drive GM v6 automatic.

I am sure you have already noticed this one's a head turner. You are correct that this is genuine old-person gold paint, just like from the factory. Not only that but you'll be hard pressed to find custom hail damage as extensive and thoroughly performed as this beast has. Are those original plastic wheel covers? Yes they are. Are those factory sized Republic Ensign tires up front? Are those factory size Kelly Explorers in the back? You bet they are.
This bird has over 120K miles on it and seems to be doing well. Shes getting older but cooler as time goes on and that says a lot because getting cooler than this beaut is really an accomplishment.
These are pics I took from the spark plug/wire change. I try to take a before and after picture so if something doesn't run right, I can be sure I put it all back together the same way.
Factory plug wire routers installed before disassembly Without, I think it looks a little cleaner

Update 6-18 She is for sale. Although she runs great, replacing the shocks and struts is a lot of money to spend on a car we don't need since we have two cars. The Olds is for sale. Asking 1800
With brakes new from September, a recent transmission flush, an excellent running and idling engine and pretty good fuel mileage, I think this car would be a good catch for someone. Unfortunately I don't have the expendable cash to have the shocks and struts replaced and it is a second car. I hope it finds a good home.
Note: Those bull horns do in fact have genuine bull flesh on them and unfortunately, in concern for scratching the car, they have since been removed.
