bigbad4runner's 1986 Toyota 4Runner

the 86 4 runner aka the tractor

bigbad4runner's 1986 Toyota 4Runnerthe 88 yota not much done but 33x12.50's, civic buckets, and a cheapy kenwood head unit.

i just want people to understand how capable toyotas are in stock form. these are the only vehicle period i can say are 100% pleasure to drive, because its like they never break down and you never get stuck lol. deffinatly the most imressive 4x4 i've owned, not to say i have had monster trucks, the biggest i've had was on 35's, but these two will go more places. hell i had a 89 Fullsize bronco on 33's and not only did they scrub all the time but it was a turd, it couldnt get out of its own way, and that was if it would run haha. i even went as far with the silver one as pulling a trailer home completely on its side lol i have pictures on a phone somewhere, but it took about three good tugs and over it came. i still think i could have hooked up to the hitch and pulled it away if it had axles lol yeah right i know but i can dream lol. anyway these trucks are almost bullet proof from the factory so i can imagine with a lift, lower gears and a dual transfer case. i'm all for saving detroit too, but i'm sure the first thing everyone notices is none of my cars are even close to being new, so detroit doesnt see any of the money i spend anyway and if they would have been making trucks like these at that time then i would own one. the fact is i have had atleast five s-10/blazers, 2 rangers, 3 nissans/datsun and now these two toyotas and the best by far are the toyotas.

i just sold the toyburban and got myself a cheap little 4runner sr5 with the 22re in it 3" lift on 31" procomps its alot smaller but more practical guess we'll have to wait for our competition until i lift this one rediculously toohaha

mostly the availability of the suburban it was a good platform and already had a 7.4L in it so i thought it'd be fun we cut it short to make more of a truggy out of it. i was able to go tall and wide but not take up tons of space with a full sized frame and the toyota body was also available so that was used to. like your page says your stock toyota's will go through anything but my heavily modified toyburban will definetly go alot further ;)
