Well, I'm definitely got the big car bug! I must have caught it from my father. This is our newest addition. It is a 1977 Chrysler Cordoba, and it is going to be my daily driver.

(the above is the e-bay photo - the one on the right is with the new tires I had to get and I put my Newport dog dishes and trim rings on to preserve the original hub caps)
I have the greatest wife! When our 92 S-10 died she was up for a little adventure. We live in Cincinnati, Ohio, but we are going to visit her parents in Arcadia, Florida (the Gulf side) for Christmas. I found this Cordoba on E-bay in Boynton, Florida (the Atlantic side).
Well, we drove over to Boynton Beach and we were not disappointed. For the most part the Cordoba is in excellent condition.
Just look at the interior.

The engine is in awesome condition!!! I drove this for close to 1,400 miles within a week of owning her (from Florida to Ohio). All I did before the trip to the engine was an oil change. I also changed the oil filter, air filter, PCV valve, fuel filter, and plugs.

Ah... there is nothing as classy as a big chrome grill and bumpers

The rust issues on the trunk lid and rear quarter panels down low are serious. There are several "see through" spots.

The previous owner had great plans for this car, but he did not have the time or storage space. Even though the paint job, roof, and tires were all less than 5 years old they will all have to be replaced due to lack of use and the Florida sun. In fact, the lovely thick white wall tires that I know the previous owner spent some coin on were so dry rotted that they went from looking untouched down to the steel nubs in 150 miles.
Despite the problems this car was a great find and Christine and I have a lot of plans for it!

I just love the mud flaps! A little bling for the Cordoba...

I just love the headlights, parking lights, and opera lights.

God bless you,
Jeff
