Rebuild the engine the kit cost about $500. It's real cheap to work on. I wouldn't get rid of it.

they say you can have a caddy at 50years old i did jusst that.. it was my thearpy car. while sick and under chemo, i worked on it detailing it, replacing parts, fuel pumps(gas tank one)spark plugs were original at 54k the car stalled when hot..even the mechanic specializing in caddy's missed it...replaced them (no ecltrodes)and car ran great...discovered a rod knock so bye bye it went. it's stlll running. guess cant kill a real caddy engine.
