Performance Mods Include:
JT Sweden 3in Downpipe - $498 <<----This is the latest performance mod i've done [8.18.09], but probably should have been my first. I think it made my Aero about 25% better. Before, 3rd gear [I have a 6-speed, by the way] was where I actually felt most of the turbo kick in when driving because of turbo lag in 1st and 2nd. A 3inch downpipe definitely took care of that turbo lag and made it much more responsive/tourquey, as well. It's like this is the way the 9-3ss was meant to be - without restriction.
BSR Opiflow Intake - $190.00
JT Sweden CatBack 3in Piping - $451.00
Koni [Yellows] Dampers - $705.60
H&R Lowering Springs - $240.00
Taliaferro Shortshifter - $55.10
Styling Mods:
Custom Rear Window Spoiler - $25
E-Code Bumper Strips - $60.00
De-Badged 'Aero' & '9-3'
Replaced Gryphon Emlbem with Custom Red & Black for trunk, hood, steering wheel and center wheel caps - $71.93
Painted Rims & Calipers - $42.98
Philips Silver Turn Signals - $18.41
Custom Sweden License Plate - $49.99
Super Bright White [7000k] Rear Liscense Plate Light - $17.98
Comfortability Mods:
Vinnie Mod (0.25" Lip) - $20
Limo tint all around including windowshield visor strip - $230
Aux-input for Iphone - $41.00
Sunroof Wind Deflector - $72.95
Changed out [yellow] interior lighting to bright white [7000k] lighting - $39.93
After all modifictaions done to my Aero, the total amount spent excluding the price of labor as well as shipping and handling comes out to $2,829.87 . With labor and s&h, I'd guess about $3.6k spent. These cars are definitely not cheap to work on. All of this was done throughout about a year since I've acquired my SAAB in August of '08.
