Here's my 2003 Buell Blast. The first thing I did was to peel the silly stickers off the tank. Now I get questions about it from everyone. It's got a single cylinder 500cc engine with a transmission out of a Sportster. It's no Hayabusa but it's pretty comparable to the UJMs from the 70s and 80s, and I don't really need to do wheelies at 150.
Here she is back home in Rhode Island when I first got her.
For my first hurricane season in South Florida I kind of freaked out. Got the Blast into the living room and then the storm turned out to be nothing when it hit us.
You can see pretty clearly in this pic that the exhaust is busted near the engine. It blew out one day at about 70 mph, and it took me almost three months to get the Vance and Hines I have on it now. I'll be rejetting the Carbeurator this weekend since from what I've read it's probably running dangerously lean.
Here's a short vid of the thumper thumping before the new exhaust went on.
