The Purchase
Lots of blood and ... blood have gone into this CRX DX. I purchased it as a very abused CRX, with cut springs and a hacked wiring harness.
I immediately went to work gutting it.
Here's the serious sound system that was installed:
After I pulled that, things started to get fun:
The springs were cut to the point where they could come loose and leave their housing over a bump while cornering:
The tires had extreme camber wear because the previous owner had lowered the car with no regard for safety or reliability:
And overall, the car was far too low to make sense:
All told, day 1 of owning this car turned out well. I lost a lot of weight.
