Just started this page so more pics and more of the things i have added and plan to add to the car will be posted later***

this j30 is a work in progress becaus its currently having troubles running i have taken it to two mechanics and neither can figure out the prob. soon i will probly have to take it to the infiniti dealership to get dignosed. here is the description i picked up from the last mechanic if anybody has any ideas of what the prob. could be please feel free to let me know

'' vehicle came in with a starting issue. the vehicle will start usaully only if its cold. it will crank fine with no signs of ignition and when you let off the starter then it will catch, and idle around 400 rpm. the car can then move under its own power as long as the gas pedal is NOT touched and you let it idle its way whever your going. as soon as you press the gas pedal the increased air flow would cause the car to start to die. i was able a few times to SLOWLY open the throttle and it would rev up, once it was at about 2000 rpm you could rev the engine up and it would preforme just fine. however once you let it back down it would idle again at 400 rpm and usually die. we checked the fuel pressure regulator and pressure dampner, before and after each of them. there were no abnormal signs indicating a clogged or stuck open pressure regulator. i visually checked the timing on the drivers side since it is easy to get to. the timing marks lined up just as they should. a compression check was preformed and all were found to be between aprox 115 and 125 psi, the book we have indicated that they must be atleast 125psi to meet factory specs. a leak down test showed minimal leakage so i still think that the culprit is jumped timing or a fault with the timing controls. the other two concerns that i have are these: the throttle pos sensor would not always read out correctly but it didnt seem to affect the running of the vehicle either way. the other was that one of the O2 sensors was acting up as well, i dont remember which one as it has been a month or so since i worked on the car.''
