About My Car:

Here is my 2004 Saturn Ion Quad Coupe 3. I just bought this like a month ago and am going to start fixin it and makin it like no other, but i need help with some ideas and how-tos.

I paid 1800 for this car. It has a salvage title and only 57000 miles. My step dad is very skilled and he fixes my cars for me and paints them. He knows how to do custom paint jobs also so if anyone has any ideas they would like to share with me let me know or send the pics whatever.

I already have a system. One 12 its the Memphis MoJo. I won 1st place in the first bass competition I competed in. I was 3rd out of everyone that competed. I forget what I was hittin. (It was in my blk 02 Cougar when I competed). My brother also has a system, he is going to start makin boxes and hes soon to be makin mine with flexi glass and lights in it!

IT WAS FINISHED IN JANUARY! :D I just have not been on here at all! I'll add pics later ;)

I have rebuilt the ION in my head and on paper countless times. I have about 3,000 pages of notes and ideas with different themes. So I ask you, what kind of theme/thing did you want going on? I'll most likely have an idea or 200. >.< As for what you want to do: Tinting is easy to find, best to leave it to a skilled person. Applying tint is a bit of an art. The good ones really do a a clean job. A recommendation though, don't get the cheap tint. I highly recommend that you get metallic embedded tint. Last longer and will be more resilient to weather changes. As far as I know, there are no makers of eyebrows as far as I know. But they are not difficult to make if you have some experience with fiberglass techniques. Contact me if you are still interested. The seats are not the Recaros that come as a premium option so if you want to get other colors on the seats, you'll need to reupholster it. The skins on the seats are two piece sets. As for the paints, make sure you get a flexible paint to go over the vinyl parts. I recommend Krylon Fusion paints for that. Carbon Fiber hood: saturnmotorsports.com Based in Nevada, very good stuff. As for your sway bars, the ION is already equipped with front and rear sway bars as part of the sport suspension all IONs were built with. (Look along the MacPherson and the Rear Torsion Beams for them) Strut tower bars, front and rear, are available from saturnmotorsports.com for about $150-200 each. Headlights: A company called IZN TRBL INC. can do a projector beam conversion starting at about $700. From what I have seen, not bad. Looks good. Drop me a message and check my Bell out.

oh yeah, i forgot, you have the perfect car to modify since its missing the front end. i would go with a carbon fiber hood (499)and a nice body kit(799 and under). if you planned for these mods for the future then it would save you a bit of money in the long run.

i got the dvd player off ebay for like 180 bucks. its a 5" but i believe a 6" would work. if not, i think any size pop out would work. As for the seats i found the fabric paint made for it but the parts i have done are fading fast so im trying to find another.
