1999 CORVETTE HARDTOP I finally bought my childhood dream car in February 2001. She was in pristine condition: one owner, garage-parked, with 14,000 miles. Been driving her just about every day since then.
My Baby is Light Pewter metallic, with a six-speed manual transmission. I kept her stock for more than a year, then the modding started. Summer 2002, I added Firestone Firehawk SZ50 Runflats, greatly improving ride quality. I also discovered the virtues of Zaino car polish, and now keep her nice and shiny with several layers of it. In January 2003, I added a Blackwing air intake, giving her a nice kick in the gas pedal...
April 2003 I added Corsa Daytona exhausts (sweet looking pipes)...
And May 2003 she got Y2K painted rims...
Along the way, I also added personalized license plates (M.FLCN = Millenium Falcon), a stainless exhaust plate, and CAGS eliminator. The never ending mod list also includes a Performance Hood Seal, Stainless Exhaust Plate, Column Lock Bypass, Flashing 3rd Brake Light, hardwired Valentine One, Raybestos QS ceramic brake pads, Optima Red Top Gel Battery, Lloyds Mats, Flameball Gearshift Knob, Fuzzy Dice, USS Defiant, and USS Enterprise-E hangin' off the mirror.
