  DyingYoung138's 1986 Pontiac Trans Am

Angelina . 5.0L 305ci H.O. Edelbrock 600cfm 4bbl with matching performance Edelbrock intake and a standard 700r4 automatic transmission. As far as performance goes, I've bought a 350ci block along with matching heads, cam, and crank and have started the rebuild.  The 350 has been bored .060 over. I am projecting borerline 400 horsepower by the time I'm finished with it and I've put it in.

Right now the plans are to get her finished off and fully restored. She's going to be painted Black with gold ground effects and decals. Air vents in the hood will also be painted gold. The spoiler is going to be junked and replaced by a fiberglass replica painted black to match the new body color. The wheels will be replaced as well with either factory gold '86 Trans Am wheels or chrome Z06 Corvette wheels. The taillights will be pulled out, sanded and polished as well as the foglights replaced and both headlight motors replaced/repaired.

The interior is going to be converted to either black or tan leather. I have no preferance, but it will be either black or tan with 4th gen leather seats. Original Trans Am floormats are in mind, but I don't plan to shell out any cash for floormats when it could be spent under the hood instead, although the rest of the interior is near the top of list. Carpet, headliner, dash, and all will be replaced with newer quality peices. Center Console might end up being a 4th gen Firebird console from the LS1 cars, but I'm undecided on wether to get a 4th gen console or a new 3rd gen console.

Got a lot of plans for Angelina here. Hoping to get a lot of things finished this summer. I'll be keeping this page updated as often as possible.

Nice ride. Silver in a 3rd gen - very rare. Dump the aftermarket hood for a stocker - just MHO. Clean 3rd Gen's are hard to find. Good luck 5 *'s
