Alright here is my 2004 BMW 325Ci. As you can tell there are a few custom things about it. to start the rims. I absolutly love the way that these 17 inchers fit under the fenders. They look perfect if you ask me. In addi tion to the rims I have an aftermarket exhaust and a kicker sound system. There also is a 2 part spoiler on the back from AC Schnitzer as well. Please tell me what you think I should do to the car. I plan on adding much more.
This car has a decent story behind it. I picked the car up at a used car dealership at a very reasonible price. the car set me back around 15K when the value is set at around 20k. The one setback was that it has a salvage title from Hurricain Katrina. THE CAR WAS UNDERWATER AND TOTALLED . The entire inside was redone to its factory condition, minus somethings which are now breaking and making me replace them ($$$). The fact that it is a salvage has plaiged the car since I got it. The power steering has gone out and the electical wiring on the inside is corroded causing the power seats to be stuck where they are. The most recent problem i had was the car would now start. I tired jumpingit with no victory. Had it towed (95$) then had it sit at the dealership for 5 daysd until they could almost re-wire the entire ignition system ($$$). With the exception of these major problems (haha) the car is in really great shape. The few paint chips common of a car with 55k miles have been painted with touch up paint and she is without a single ding. As far as the rims go the owner that had the car before me put those on. Im not sure what type they are but I love them. They are chrome and they are in PERFECT condition, not a single scratch on any of them.
The car also has a Kicker sound system hooked up to the stock Harmon & Kardon system (4 mid-range speakers and 2 door sweeters). I am always impresed with what a single sub can do. I have a 10 Inch square Kicker Subwoofer. It is hooked running through a medium sized Kicker 400 watt amp. Plenty of power for what listen to. There is alot of vibration when you turn it up loud but at low levels (and when the car is off !) there is not a sinlgle rattle.
As far as driving goes, I have very little complaints. The lower profile tires make it a little lower to the ground, but nothing that I cant get over. I have scraped the front end only a coupe of times on driveways. The low tone from the exhaust gets a little old on the highway, but it sure does sound sexy. As far as pure power the car doesnt blows people away. It has a high redline and the shifts in the automatic Sport mode are very fast and aggresive. I'd say this car is "quick" more than "fast".
