ihad my exhaust built so that my headers dumped out the side of the car, right behind the fender. this way i dont have to crawl all the way under the car to uncork the cutouts. plus, i think it looks meaner that way.
my wife and i found this emblem in the vendors area at the frankenmuth auto fest.

me in my rat fink jacket with the car in the driveway of my home. i getit out once a month in the winter just to let her run and keep everything loose.
think i might lose this ugly hood scoop and put a normal hood back on, nice and clean. ya know, less is more.
another pic of betty in the driveway.
same thing, different angle. i think i'm gonna get a set of brand new 9c1 springs in the front in the spring. i dont like the rake, and i would rather it sit level. that would be better for weight transfer at the track, too.

heres some pics of the hood ornament i made.
i just took the old base for the original caprice hood ornament (some low life asshole stole the factory one while i was parked in the caro walmart parking lot) off, drilled it out, shoved a bolt through it and epoxied it in. then i took and painted an pingpong ball to look like an eyeball and used the same drill bit to put a hole in the bottom of it. after that i filled the pinpong ball with epoxy, shoved the bolt from the base in it and cleaned up the excess epoxy. finally i let it sit up right for a few days by carefully locking it into my vice. after it was done curing, i just put the base back into its place on the nose of the car.

heres a couple pics of her "hibernating" for the winter. shes big enough that she pretty much make my two car garage into a one car garage!
my rear disc brake setup, i havent seen alot of box chevys that have done this. all i did was swap in a whole axle fro a '94 9c1 police interceptor caprice, bolts right in, and makes a HELLUVA difference!
my hero, the fink.
