This is my 1967 mustang GTA. I got this car when I was fifteen. We paid $800.00 for this car. Then my dad had it patched and filled with bondo and a decent paint job on it. This car looked real good from about five feet away. I drove this car for about five years before major problems started happening. The paint and bondo started coming off everywhere. I always kept it under a tarp but when I was thirty I decided to uncover it and bring it in my garage. At that point I started taking it apart and that's where I found all the problems. Bad floors, frame rails, pretty much all the metal in this car was rusting away from the inside out. I started buying parts for this car over several years until I was thirty five. At that time I had a stripped down car with several parts, suspension, drive train, fenders, doors, hood, front and rear valance, cowl, inner cowl, cowl side panels, engine compartment, floors, seat risers, trunk rear corners, frame rails, torque boxes, inner fender splash shields etc. I had the 289 completely rebuilt. Acid dipped, bored 30 over, port & polished heads, bigger cam, aluminum high rise intake, Holley 670 DP, flex fan, three core radiator, Try Y headers, electronic ignition, and a chrome dress up kit. I had what I thought was enough to redo the car but at this point had realized I would not be talented enough to do all of this work and put the car back together. I met a guy who agreed to take on this project and a deal was struck. He was going to build this car and would need to purchase several more thousand dollars worth of parts. I would have to sign my car over to him in case I would not pay for all the work that needed done. I would like to thank Jim Workman (wilder54_2000) for putting this car together and then making sure it came back to me when it was finished. It started out like this.

Jim started cutting away at all the bad metal so that he could get this car looking new.

new panels are being welded in everywhere.
new suspension is also going in
undercoating in all the hidden areas

new fenders, doors
quarter panels were replaced when I was younger but Jim had to straiten everything out and clean it up alot. Then came some primer.
and a little paint.

and the motor
