I have a laptop mount for my eeepc which will sit on the passenger side of the console running mapping software (iGuidance) and a usb gps receiver...

the power... this is all temporary... in the spring it will get a large 5 volt regulator and a 12 volt regulator... I will use 4 pin XLRs with pin 3 being +5v and 4 +12v... all wiring will be hidden under the dash so no more velcro....

CB... for talking to truckers... you may laugh but it is a useful way of finding out information on traffic, weather and cops... also some areas of our country still doesn't have cell reception... so if in need you can flag down passing truckers or wreckers...
