Going along on the high way I checked my mirrors and saw that I was the only car for a good 200ft.
I turned on my blinker and started to shift lanes, camped out in my blind spot was a little blazer.
My rear fender hit his bumper and caused me to loose control. As I was sliding sideways I tried to straighten myself out but over steering I just caused myself to whip around and start sliding with the passenger side moving forwards.
I hit the little curb divider between the high-way and the off-ramp and this caused my car to lift off of the ground, my air time was short and when the car landed the rear passenger side hit first.
The impact caused my tires to blow out and pulled them back from the edge of the rim. Sliding along on just rims for the passenger side ground away some of the metal, luckily he front portion of the car landed just off the road onto the somewhat grassy side of the off-ramp. This gave me the opportunity to take out a road post and get a nice dent in my passenger side door.
Then rolling off of the side of the road I slid down a grassy bank, I think I hit my head on the window, either way I was out.
Next thing I know the front end of my car is jammed up against the uphill side of the little valley that I had slide down into, my air-bag was deflated and a guy is on holding open my door on his cell phone telling me that the cop's are on there way and asking me if I need an ambulance.
The only injuries that resulted from the crash were on my part, I was diagnosed with a concussion, I had burns on my hands from the air-bag going off and my left thumb and hand were all bruised. Considering all that happened I feel that the little subaru faired pretty well.
You be the judge.
