This is a customers car and he said i could add it to my garage!
Richard picked up his new 451 1 litr smart turbo in july but thought it just too conventional after his old 450 type smart
We had a chat and Richard decided to make the smart car he had always wanted
We had a chat and pooled some ideas and i came up with the ideas
Understated
Not too in your face
Smart but smarter!
We decided on the following
S-mann front splitter, Side skirts, rear f1 style diffuser, rear roof spoiler
All to be colour coded
The suspension overhauled to have H&R lowered springs
The interior was very grey and mundae and so some colour was brought into it
Richard chose anthracite and jaffa orange leather
We decided to make the door cards 2 colour also!
Custom leather 2 tone re trim and some colour coding of the dash trims to spread the orange theme
A custom orange Smartarse design sticker was made too!
The final touch happened by chance, i had a call to say a new style of smart 451 wheel was being brought into the market and we got one of the first sets
16" Hi power silver alloy wheels (also available in black and black with polished silver too)
195 40 16 Toyo Proxy front tyres and 215 40 16 on the rear with Toyos there too!
Great drive and it feels a special place to be when you drive it.
