this is a little project im doing for the mrs.

first i took an old beat up colt bumper and cut the bottom off,  the colt head lights are slanted so i used the old bumper to keep a good line around the lights and wings.

i bolted the old bumper on and then got to work on cutting up the new silver bumper to get the desired look, after proping it all up and get the measurements right i secured it with some screws. On the back of the bumper i used fibreglass to join the to bumpers together.

On the front i used a upvc strip to hide the join and create some shape, i then fibreglassed over that too.

finnishing with a filler to define the final shape

almost there now just need to prep it for painting and fit the mesh behind the grills.looks abit tatty in the pics but looks sweet in the flesh should paint up nice just need the weather now.

i will post the finnished items soon, just waiting for it to warm up a bit so i can paint it.

i have also removed the passenger air bag so i can fit a screen and ps2 in the dash,some thing for me to play with on them long drives, lol no point putting it in my car im always driving it. car has been dynomatted ready for the audio install. 

managed to get a coat of high build on the bumper today, starting to take shape now.

well cant paint it yet but started doing a couple of other jobs, 

Started with the breaks and calipers, disk look shite but are like new so didnt replace them.

did the rears too.

oh and changed the wheels, only trouble is the wheel nuts are to long and cant get the centre caps on, will change them soon.

and just started tiding up the black trim/ mirrors etc
