whats up man? Thanks for the 5*! I gave you 5* aswell! Anyway the 1.8l swap wasnt that hard just more time consuming then anything. Basicly had to swap out the motor, ecu, ecu harness and also i swapped out the fender harnesses, so that i could use the 1.8l jugs, plus my car use to be auto so thats the only way i could get the reverse lights to work.

It's been almost 10 years since we did the swap... but if I remember correctly, just the TPS and MAF connectors need to be rewired. It's an easy job if you have a terminal release tool, to swap the terminals from one connector to another.

oh... and a RPM activated switch needs to be added to control the secondary intake butterflies, so that they open to give better high end.

Sorry for the delayed response, I didn't see that I had a new message. You could swap the SPI head onto the 1.9L, but I would just recommend swapping in a whole SPI engine instead. If I remember correctly, swapping the SPI head on the 1.9L block is only good if you are planning on running a turbo.
