We were on our way to the Muscle Car Reunion
September 12th at KCIR in Kansas City.
I was in quite a hurry to get there and the Sheriff got me.
No matter how hard I ran I just could not shake that Model A
HA! HA!
My brother took the pic on his cell phone while I was registering for the car show.

Extra air cleaner lid decal below.
(When you read the bottom of the page you will understand why I have one)

Well after all this time (about five years to be exact)
The Olds is finally transforming into my dream car!
When I started this project I approached it with this one thing in mind.
If GM executives came to me in 1973 and said build us a muscle car off of a Delta 88 platform, "What would I build?"
So how about a W-31 Hurst equipped Delta 88?
This is just a concept of what a W-31 Delta 88 would be.
In the future it will have a Hurst Dual Gate Shifter (have one ready to install)
and I will keep the bench seat. (tried buckets and it just does not look right in this car)
A rear sway bar will be added to enhance the handling.
The last thing will be my version of a Ram Rod 350.
They did not make any Delta 88's like this, but I thought it would be a good theme to build a car of off.
After all one of a kind cars are not built,
"They Evolve!"
Have to get a new Air cleaner, because when we were at KCIR
"Big Daddy" Don Garlits autographed my air cleaner lid!
"That was the highlight of the day!"
