         Olds-Nut's 1973 Oldsmobile Delta 88

A steel cowl hood scoop, chrome door edge trim, and aluminum pop rivets have a real nice effect. When the hood is down at a car show it really throws people off, there is alot of head scratching and double takes. I have a blast just watching people look at it, makes for good conversation. If you are running headers this really vents the heat out, and cools things off under the hood. Before I put the hood scoop on the car the headers put off so much heat the air conditioning would not work right on hot days. Now the a.c. really works good on hot summer days , problem cured and it gave the car a more agressive look too.

IT WAS A VERY SAD DAY WHEN WE PULLED INTO THE CEMETARY AND THERE SAT LARRY'S COUPE ON THE HILL ACROSS FROM HIS GRAVE, IT WAS ENOUGH TO MAKE EVEN THE MOST HARD CORE HOT RODDER CRY LIKE A BABY. WE WILL SURE MISS YOU AT THE CRUISE NIGHTS AND CAR SHOWS.

Nice. I love it when someone uses more knowledge and skill than just money, especially with such an unusual ride. 5 stars for the clean look and the only '88 cowl hood I've ever seen.

A great project! I'm doing similar with my 72 "88". The 5 inch wheel pattern is hard to fit. A question: what size engine. Your using an A6 manifold? Finally what headers did you use. Are these block huggers? Karl
