Just thought I would post some pics of this car to share with the Cardomain community. It's a very rare 1977 Pontiac LeMans Can Am. I'm not going to write the history here, but if you do a web search on one, you will find out some interesting info. Just briefly, one story goes about 1,377 were made, then the mold for the spoiler was broken, and Pontiac halted production due to the Can Am competing with their very good-selling Grand Prix. This one has a very rare factory power sunroof. It has been frame off restored by the previous owner. I have to do a little fine tuning and finishing to get it ready for the Spring shows, but hope to have it ready soon. I have a fairly rough build sheet found on top of the gas tank, and Pontiac Historical documents proving its authenticity.
Cardomain says my car is #3 out of 420. Thanks for all the views. I have confirmed that it does have the numbers matching engine in it. I found the number.
New carpet installed, waxed and trunk and hardware painted this month.
This car is no longer owned by me, but I will leave it up for a time, for the enjoyment of the cardomain community.
