Picture of my '76 258 X auto owned back in '80, sorry I ever got rid of it, had been my favorite car to date through all these years.

Hey Larry, Thank you for checking out my Hornet. Unfortunately, I sold it just over a year ago to a nice guy in Ohio. My Hornet used to be Sienna Orange with a white painted top if you can believe that! The owner prior to me (I was the third owner) had it professionally painted in a 1973 color called Grasshopper Green! He THOUGHT it was the Silver Green metallic, but it was not. I think the paint code was C-8. Best of luck with yours....they are fantastic cars and they are relatively easy to work on. (I use that term loosely....all cars can be difficult to work on!) Hope you keep this page updated and that you enjoy many happy, healthy miles on your ride now and into 2009. Those rims look really great...if you do the rest of the car as nice as those rims, you will have the envy of other AMCers everywhere! I currently have a 1983 Eagle which I will get around to posting up on this site one day! Take care! -Tim
