update 29/aug/09
my truck was muddy and dirty as usual after some hard work, so i gave a good bath today, also buffed my rims, didnt had chance since i got them, in page 3 u can see that they didnt shine.
i was surprised on the results, didnt knew they were that shiny, later im gonna buff em again to get more shine off them
enjoy!!

SUSPENSION LIFT!!!!
CUSTOM MADE SUSPENSION LIFT

the new look
the front
added a "turn" to the OEM spring, we had an old spring laying around so me cutted a couple rings, one on each spring. the spacer diameter is 5/8 of an inch.
we welded it to the spring to keep it steady, and we made some clamps welded to the spacer ring to hold the ring to the spring.
i still need to do some tweaks on the front, since the coil had a completely flat surface on the lower assembly, and now with the larger height the lower arm sits a bit inclined the spring makes a bit of noise, i already have an idea that might fix it.
been testing this on normal driving and some off road driving and works fine, cant feel much difference on stabilty. Only thing is that the front suspension got a bit stiffer, nothing that i cant get used to, besides i dont abuse the truck on bumpy roads, so not that big deal.
once i fix the spring squeak its gonna be 100% done.
and of course bigger tires, im going for 235/75 all terrains, looking for a mild 4x4 look, nothing to extreme.

my truck's bumpers were in need of some attention.
the front bumper was dented and unleveled, also had some rust bits.
the bull bar was bolted to it, so the brackets were looking ugly, i never liked em, but didnt had more options.
i did a quick paint job with a spray can to the grille when i got the truck, but spray can paint doesnt last too long, it needed some real automotive paint.
the rear bumper had a lot of scratches and had a rust spot too.
seems like i need to polish that exhaust tip, or better get a new one lol
soo... today i replaced my front bumper with a brand new 01-03 Ranger EDGE/4x4 bumper.
prerunner yo!!!
while paint dries...
look what i found hidden on the old bumper...
the bumper is white and the valence is stock dark gray color. Since i drive on country roads and some dirt roads paint chipping is a pain in the ass for painted valences, thats why i didnt paint it white, besides i like it more with two tone.
still need to do a couple more tweaks, i need to raise it a lil bit more, redo alignment, and fabb new bull bar brackets, im gonna install it bolted to the trucks frame, i wont be drilling my new bumper.
4.5" fog lights are coming ASAP.
thats the only pic i could shot, it was getting late and i just wanted to go home lol. once i clean the truck im gonna take better pics.
25 oct
reinstalled bullbar and replaced fogs for round ones, gonna install the bumper fogs ASAP!
also completed the bumper work, raised it and leveled.
the bull bar brackets are stronger now, also removed the ugly screws bolted to the bumper for it, it has some hidden brackets now. i can even sit on it and it wont even squeak, and i weight around 200lbs lol

new pics with the 2 sets of fog lights
also replaced the headlight bulbs with blue xenon ones so the light looks shinier and more white

since its lifted, the stock tires looked silly, and since they were going bald, i started looking around for new tires, brand new ones are really xpensive right now, i cant afford em, so i went for used tires, and found a place with good prices and tires in really good shape, so i decided to look for some 30x9.50 tires, and they had like a dozen of GoodYear Wrangler GS-A, so i had a chance to get the better ones, and here they are!! sorry for the crappy cell phone pics, ima get a camera and take better pics ASAP.
let me know what u think
