Hello, and thanks for checking out my build.

I am the proud owner of a 1973 Datsun 240Z.

Funny thing is, she is EXACTLY 3 months younger than me. I bought her as a rolling chassis, as I wasn't interested in the Turbo motor that was there when I met her. Thanks again, Zoltan!

Here she is as I met her:agentc73's 1973 Datsun 240Z agentc73's 1973 Datsun 240Z agentc73's 1973 Datsun 240Z

My build will follow a very clear vision. She will have a very Vintage/Road Race feel, but be very much my daily driver. Sticking with this Vintage/Race theme, I have bought a set of triple Mikuni 40 PHH Type "R"'s, a Reaction Research Subtle Z widebody front clip, and 280YZ rear quarters.

And again, paying homage to the V/R feel, filling these widebody panels will be a set of 14 inch Slotted Mags, identical to what is seen here, just MUCH wider. Yes, 14's!  I have found a complete staggered set, of 14x8's for the front, and 14x9's for the rear.

Anything bigger than 18 inch wheels is just over-compensating for deep rooted insecurities, IMHO...

Well, I got her home, and couldn't help but clean and polish her.

Kinda dumb to do so, being as she is being painted.

And, of course, clean the interior!!

Next order of business, was to get rid of that hideous molded on spoiler. MUCH better!!agentc73's 1973 Datsun 240Z agentc73's 1973 Datsun 240Z

Awesome looking Zed! Love the way you kept the classic slotted mag look with the WIDEBODY. Where did you ever find those wheels? Were they custom made? If you get tired of them, give me a shout.

Sweet ride, never seen one of those with that kit on it. Looks super clean in white. Love it.
