This is my new truck I picked up mid 2008. I really never intended to buy this truck, infact I wasn't even looking for one at the time. I was looking for an "old" 65-66 stang, or a Chevy II/Nova, or even a Plymouth Duster. Even though my main focus was to find a nice 67-72 Chevy shortbed. I was searching craigslist, and always liked the Gen 2s (Didn't even know a gen 1 existed till I saw this) Went to go look at it for sh*ts and giggles, and well, look what I ended up with :D
Dont get me wrong though, I love this truck. Its quick for an old farm truck, and handles like a Miata. Its my daily driver for now (shame on me) I picked her up with 108k on the clock. Super clean except for a few minor scratches on the tailgate, and a tiny "leak" on one of the coolant hoses (just a loose line). If this truck wasn't in such good shape, I probably wouldn't have even taken the time to negotiate. Lets just say I fell in love though, I paid a down payment by the time I was done checking out the truck.
