Put these 2 Z's together and you would get an Idea of what my finished resto would look like. As all Camaro buffs know, the parts are very hard to find, then if you try and get REAL authentic parts, they are even harder to discover.
I'm really bumded about real parts because there was a great Junkyard here in Delaware that only had Camaro, Trans Am, Nova, and Chevelle's. I used to get my parts from there when I had my first Camaro and tried keeping it running on the road. When I got back from IRAQ in 2005, I went there to scope out what the yard had still after 15 months. To my surprise there was alot off good parts I could have swapped for exact build. I didn't make it back until August and the entire yard was empty. The guy working the yard told me that being scrap steel prises were so high he couldn't pass up the chance to cash out of the business.
So this is what I have left. A great body and strait uni-frame, "NO" rust in the popular rear quarters, a little cancer around the T's and underbody, all the black window trim, working Air Induction Hood for the Original 350 that was bored 30 over, 350TH-3spd automatic w/ BM shift kit, 3:73 rear, pwr windows.
Can't wait to start working on her when ever I get the time and parts.................
