OK so everyone wants to know WHY DID YOU SELL THAT FOR A FORD?????. Well when I bought this cherokee I was told it had a newer engine it ran alright but not a lot of power. The trans was supose to have been just rebuilt, NOT I took it to my a buddy of mine who works on transmissions everyday and well he told me Ya it's been rebuilt in 1982. And then there is the IT'S NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT. Well I could see spending $1100.00 for a trans even though I didn't even put 1500 miles on it after I bought it for $1200.00. And to top it all off I wanted to ge the body work started and the half gallon of bondo on the passenger side that was nothing. The driver side about four gallons of putty that tick me off. I wanted to have good running Jeep like my 89 grand wagoneer. I am a jeep Guy. But I don't like getting screwed. And thats the story in short sorry folks.

i have the stock 6 in mine with a couple upgrades and i can smoke my 35s on dry pavement

Those things are a beast man. I love the original 'Kees. The pic of the camo one just like yours I have posted on my page is pushing 33's with the original 6 cyl. 4.11 gears and a rear locker. His does great. Just needs more lift 'cause the tires rub. It's got a 4'' right now. Happy trails. Rubber side down.
