Work Has begun, got the jeep lowered 2 days ago:
This is just temporary, cut the original springs, until I get my hands on some lowering springs that will work with it. The extended fender flares and the power window and power door kits should be arriving within a couple weeks.
The 1800 Baleno engine has now been acquired. Must say, it was a steal and in great condition.

It should be in the jeep and turbo charged by the end of Jan 09.
Hoping to get atleast 300BHP with this baby. My mechanic said that could be done effortlessly with this engine, so we'll see what happens.
The Flares are here. 6" Extended, will look HOT when the kit is built.

Currently, the jeep is undergoing the engine swap. Specifically, building the mounts for the new 1.8 engine, and fabricating a plate so that the original transmission can fit the baleno eninge. Wiring should start within the next two weeks or so. So far, from my list of parts, I have received:
1.6" extended fenders
2. Custom power M3 carbon fibre mirrors
3. Power window kit
4. power door lock kit.
Still awaiting a quote from my body work hook up for building the complete wide body kit. But before that is started, want to have the jeep turbo charged. But financially, I am getting a bit drained. So looks like it wouldn't be turboed until sometime like Sept 09.
Here are some new pics:

Here are the M3 power mirrors which will replace the old manual samurai stock mirrors:
Ok, its been over two months and the engine is still out the fricking samurai. GOING MAD!!!!!!
While its in the garage, I took the time to install the power windows and the central locking. Along with th extended flares and the power M3 mirrors. The grile is also cut out to insert the mesh. I'll have up some pics by tomorrow. I have to change the blue leds in the mirrors to amber though.
