Daihatsu Applause

Turbo

Androo26's 1993 Daihatsu Applause

Hi everyone, this is my new project.... Daihatsu Applause... nicknamed by the guys at work "the happy clapper".

Aiming for about 130kw at the wheels running 10 psi .

This is a bit of a diary of the mods ive done since owning the car. I hope you enjoy it and maybe learn somthing along the way too.

Wheels are 17inch King RSGT in hyper black. tyres 205/40/17. Lowered 2 inches all round and new KYB gas shocks.

Since the car has been lowered 2 inches it has a nice stance with much less body roll and feels great in the corners and not too bad a ride quality either.

 Low mount position of turbo.

You must really love your applause, I like the work you have done. Especially since you've kept the body in it's original look. I wish I had the tools here to do the work needed on mine. Nice work.
