This is my 1985 Corvette i bought on november 25th for only $1500 and drove it back over 90 miles. Its got the Z51 suspension package and the V08 cooling package. its in pretty rough shape, but it runs and drives and looks half decent to boot. the interior is most of the problems. the door panels are totally nasty. the locks dont work at all, and the seats are just wierd. both of the rear bearings need to be replaced, the headlight motors don't work, and it smokes a bit from burning oil under the hood. the clear is chipping off the paint, but its still about as good as the firebirds paint. the targa top is cracked, but not too bad at all. the windows work, but the passenger side needs help going up sometimes and is really slow. its missing a hood latch, and it needs an alignment, which is easy. the tires are slighty dry rotted too, along with all the weatherstripping. it has an oil leak big time somewhere on the front of the motor, so i've got to find that, and the coolant temperature sensor doesnt seem to be plugged in. also, it stalls when its warmed up and at a stop, but still in gear. i think the converter clutch may be malfunctioning. all in all it is a great car for the money and i'm glad to have a new project.
