All of the next pictures you'll see are a basic idea of what the cars condition was when I got it. I'm gonna rip this car apart and make her the Envy of the neighborhood. They'll hate me for all the noise I'll make when rebuilding her this winter but they'll get over it as soon as they see her drive by and hear the Sweet tones of the rebyuilt inline 6 thru headers and split exhaust pipes in the rear.

The motor and tranny (4-speed) were rebuilt by the previous owner a few years ago but he passed away before he could Really start on the rest of the car (R.I.P. P.O.) His wife sold the car to pay for the Funeral services and later bills. Nothing will look the same when I'm done with her. I feel like the P.O. is watching over me as I pain stakingly remove one peice at a time. I hope I do him proud...

The interior has seen better days. The dash is in dire need of replacement or a full dash cap. The fuel pump seems to have snagged a curb or stump? Either way, it'll look like it never happened when I'm done. I'm sending out some cash this week (11/21/08) to a guy that has a great center console to replace this P.O.S. I wanna try and keep the original seats unless I come across a nice set of Sport car seats for cheap. She'll also have new carpet to replace the sun trashed peices that are left.

Got a 260Z hood, 2 good fenders and headlight buckets from Gary in Oroville. I sent them to the local media blaster and found trhe hood to be in decent shape but the fenders needed some patch work. The original fenders were rotten, rusted and dented so I threw them away. Here's a shot of the hood and left fender after a week of body work. Whole lot of Flat boarding going on that week.

Media blasted headlight bucket during the body work and after the primer was sprayed on. I already have the new H4 composite headlights in a box and ready to be installed. The Lights will have Amber LED blinkers in the City Light sockets. Good for sunset but not able to be seen when the headlights are on. All the side markers will be Custom "Z" LED lights. The Taillights are undecided at the moment but will definately be L.E.D. as well, just not sure on the design yet. We'll see.

Great work on the fuel tank i would really like to see some pics of it mounted and see how much room there is for the exhaust. I searched high and low for a way to run dual exhausts and keep the wheel well (no fuel cell) and you did it. Great job!

The motor is only pretty on the outside and Yes, I plan on full synthetics. So far, I'm the only one building this car. I have a metal guy that will be welding the fuel tank and making the rear panel peice but that's about it. Thank you so much guys, I need the enthusiasm now and then to keep me going. Dave
