On the first page i said my fosgate sub amp died. here is what i replaced it with. A DHD 100w 4ch amp. im running 1 channel, so im getting about 30wrms to each sub. It sounds GREAT!!
..NAWT! ive got a big amp in the mail. should be here sometime soon, but ive gotta redesign an amp rack. This little thing does hit harder than i thought though...i got my roof to flex for about 3 seconds before it shut off!
New RD1000.1D is in the trunk. However, I'm sick of how my amp rack is, so a new one is in the design stage.
MY STEREO SYSTEM
my system is my main part of my car. Head unit is nothing special, a jensen 7" t/s dvd player. i have a ps2 hooked up to it (wireless controllers), and hopefully will expand to more screens eventually.
I have clarion speakers for my 6x9's in my rear deck, and 6.5"s in all 4 doors powered by an 800w amp, which to my surprise, does much better than i thought hitting the mids and hi's.
My Amp rack...for now. more on PG 7.
my subs are 2 12" fosgate p3's and are soon to be in a Fiberglass enclosure...but I think im upgrading them, so I'm waiting until I decide what Im doing for sure.
ive sound deadened my trunk and rear speaker deck, and am soon to work on the doors and floor to quiet the ride. I am running 2g wiring to my sub amp, and 6g to my mids and hi's amp.
