My latest whip is a 1984 European-spec 911 Carrera Coupe with factory sport seats, limited slip and factory Bilstein sport suspension. The odometer reads 91,000 miles, but with European cars in the United States the odometer is changed when the car enters the country, so it has covered an unknown number of total mile since delivered new in Germany.
Whoever bought it new was a performance junkie, because the only options he ordered were the speedy ones. Plus what Porsche called "Triple Black" (sounds silly on a coupe, but it means an optional black headliner.)

It is in beautiful condition throughout and needs nothing. The air con blows cold, everything works, and the car is much more capable in the corners than my 1985 cabriolet.

And finally, here is a photo of the car during the 2008 Carolina Trophy Rally, which covers 1000km through the mountains of North Carolina every September. Details can be found at www.carolinatrophy.com
