This site (http://www.cadillacforum.com) has tons of helpful info. Ive been apart of it almost since it started and have enjoyed the people on the site as well. The site is very friendly and knowlegable about cadillacs. They have info from how to do general maintenace to repairs of just about everything.

 This is my 1998 Cady SLS that i bought on Nevember 18 2008 for $3,200 It had 89,000 miles with a newer engine with about 65k on it. This has every option an STS has except for the CD changer and is pretty clean. Most of all this is one of my dream cars that i was destine to have when i was able to find the right one. I know your probably thinkin i got a steal of a deal. Well the guy i bought it from lost his job and needed money fast so he could move back to Arizona where the car originally came from. So it has no rust and is in Great shape!

As any Cadillac enthusiast knows it has the almighty Northstar V8. This car packs some punch for being a massive 4,000lbs car, how much you may ask. The SLS model that i have boast 275hp with 300tq with a limited speed of 112mph and handles like a sports car on top of that. The STS model has 300hp with 295tq and can reach speeds of 150mph pretty quick. This is a 14.9 - 15.2 second car stock for this tank. Sure you may doubt these specs but if you have driven any cady thats equiped with a Northstar you would know that these are sleepers more or less.

These are some night shots the day after I brought her home. She looks Damn good in Pearl and limo tint.

                                                                                            These are the 18" Armono Hamptons wrapped with Falken tires. They came with the car when i bought it. Not bad just need to be polished up since they are still dirty. Im looking at possibly puting vogue tires on, not sure yet depending if i get bigger rims. I will most likely put 20's on when i find some i like.

4/20/09 My cady was outa commision due to the nortorious blown head gaskets but will have it back in 3 days. This will be a nice bill lol.

4/30/09 Got her all fixed up and now had to deal with the $2500 bill that they droped from $3200 due to the shop misquoting me. Wish i could have spent this money else where LOL.

Here are the pics of the bad gaskets the Northstar engine blew.

                                                                           This is one of the head bolts which you cant reuse since it pulls the treads out out the block when removed. So i carefully got the treads off so you can see what i meant.

These engines are very strong as long as the gaskets are good these engines are capable of 300,000miles So now that i fixed the biggest problem i can now sleep better knowing this shouldn't happn agian. KNOCK ON WOOD!

Shortly after i washed her i used the clay bar treatment to clean up the car some more before i waxed it. Now shes clean. Sorry for bad quality of pics they are off my blackberry.

This was some video i found that makes me laugh. This is the sleeper of all cady's and some ppl underestimate what can be done to the cady's. It does the 1/4mi. in 12.5 sec. @ 114.3mph not bad for 4,000lbs., and its as fast as the 2009 CTS-V
