Clutch and Flywheel

GuyverRacing's 1992 Subaru SVX

I finally got my new Clutch and aluminum Flywheel, I should have them installed this weekend.

Phoenix Friction custom made Dual Friction Kevlar/Ceramic 6 puck clutch disc.

Kevlar side for smooth engagement and durability.

Ceramic side for added torque and grip

I finally removed the HEAVY transmission and installed the fltwheel and clutch, hopefully I'll have it done by next weekend.

The aluminum flywheels is considerably lighter than the stock one, that should ease a couple horses and increase acceleration a bit.

Flywheel installed, (I replaced the rear main oil seal while the flywheel was off) and then the clutch all nice and tight. Now here comes the tricky part.... getting the heavy ass transmission up there, align it and hopefully will go in with no problems.

Wheels

Then I got the 18" wheels, nothing special but they make the car look way better.

The headlights started to fade yellow, so I sanded and polished them and look at the difference

First Mods

Window tint. Painted the wheels in Gunmetal and removed the stock exhaust, replaced it with a Flowmaster 80 series for F-Bodys and added the dual exhaust tips. It sounds awesome.

Please read before leaving a comment.

I really apreciate all of your comments, but please don't comment just so I go and vote for your ride.

Don't tell me you gave me 5 stars, that's not going to make me go and give you 5 stars. I'll rate your car according to what it deserves and I expect the same. Don't give my car 5 stars if it doesn't deserve them . If there's nothing special about your car I won't give you 5 stars, and if you want me to give you a comment, I'll give you my most sincere opinion. If I say something negative about your car it won't be to hate, but to point that you can do something better to improve your vehicle, it's all Constructive Criticism. ( This goes specially to that guy that goes and copy/paste the same comment on everybody's car on CarDomain and saying that he gave you 5 stars even if your car is completely unmodified or has flaws like he really cares/likes your ride , but he only wants you to go rate him with 5 stars... you know who I'm talking about)

At the same time I'll only accept constructive critics and will delete all hate comments. If you leave a comment I'll be more than glad to visit your ride and leave you a comment too and rate but don't expect 5 stars if your car only has custom wheels or an aftermarket stereo. All stock/unmodified vehicles won't be rated unless they are restorations or classics or very rare cars. A 5 star car should have nice wheels, nice interior work, some performance mods (if it is a performance oriented car)

Thanks for watching and please rate my rides at your own discretion.

Wow. Clean SVX. I've always loved these cars. Hell, I'm rocking the same exact Flowmaster! They make everything sound great. Check out my GT sometime.
