New wheels are on the way, meanwhile, the C6 18" and 19" wheels get the job done.

Hood shave

The hood has no more "camel toe" on it, so it looks cleaner and more aggressive. The fenders look higher like on the C3s and in my opinion looks more muscular, like a better defined body.

Diffuser

I also modified the rear diffuser, Blacked out to match with the roof and bigger air openings.

Seats

The first mod and so far the best one, Got rid of the crappy leather seats and replaced them with Recaro Sports. I love not having leather in Arizona's heat, specially when you race with no A/C.

The pics make the blue area on the seats look diffrent, but it actually matches the car color pretty good.

Roof Bar

I painted the roof bar flat black to experiment... still not sure, I think I'll do it in carbon fiber instead.

Drifting

I'm learning to drift on my vette, I went to a drift event at Firebird Internacional Raceway and I kept spinning all over the track.... Well, at least now I have a basis to start with. LOL.

Before painting my bumper at 350Z Motorsports they were doing some drift donuts at their parking lot, so I gave it a try.

Visit www.350ZMotorsports.com for more parts and don't miss the hot Arizona drifting action at www.azdrift.com .

Drag Racing

So far, I haven't been able to pull a good run on my car, the first time I had dry rotten tires and I kept spinning the entire 1st and half 2nd gear, I still managed to get a crappy 13.8, and the last time I ran I had my drifting tires on, so wheel hoping thought the intire 1st gear gave me a 14.4... I know, it's pathetic, but I don't drag every friday, so I'm far from being a good driver.

Here's my old video from Firebird Raceway:

Yeah.... the traction control went off so I stalled it, but once I turned it off again the burning beggined!!!

File

It's been a year since I got my Vette (Feb 2008), hopefully this year will have more mods, new wheels are on the way and maybe a twin turbo.... maybe.

Please read before leaving a comment.

I really apreciate all of your comments, but please don't comment just so I go and vote for your ride.

Don't tell me you gave me 5 stars, that's not going to make me go and give you 5 stars. I'll rate your car according to what it deserves and I expect the same. Don't give my car 5 stars if it doesn't deserve them . If there's nothing special about your car I won't give you 5 stars, and if you want me to give you a comment, I'll give you my most sincere opinion. If I say something negative about your car it won't be to hate, but to point that you can do something better to improve your vehicle, it's all Constructive Criticism. ( This goes specially to that guy that goes and copy/paste the same comment on everybody's car on CarDomain and saying that he gave you 5 stars even if your car is completely unmodified or has flaws like he really cares/likes your ride , but he only wants you to go rate him with 5 stars... you know who I'm talking about)

At the same time I'll only accept constructive critics and will delete all hate comments. If you leave a comment I'll be more than glad to visit your ride and leave you a comment too and rate but don't expect 5 stars if your car only has custom wheels or an aftermarket stereo. All stock/unmodified vehicles won't be rated unless they are restorations or classics or very rare cars. A 5 star car should have nice wheels, nice interior work, some performance mods (if it is a performance oriented car)

Thanks for watching and please rate my rides at your own discretion.

Thanks for sharing all the great pics and videos. I enjoyed your honesty, and that one vid where you are doing the donuts - man what a small space.... I'm looking at getting a C5 real soon. Got any advice for a first time vette owner? What to look for, possible things that go wrong? Any info would be much appreciated, thanks very much
