More to follow: Update on the acid wash, for the most part Ive given up on the acid wash for the frame, mainly because I dont have adequate space to use it. I am however going to continue with it on smaller pieces such as control arms, spindels etc. I have a 15 Gallon tub that fits smaller pieces in, is self contained and I can let stuff sit in it for a while.Things I have learned, you MUST have adequate ventilation if not prepare to choke on this stuff and its not fun. It WILL burn your eyes nose, throat etc it works very vast on things that have surface rust and will eventually eat through undercoating, paint etc. Heavy duty arm length gloves, Eye and Face Sheld are a must and some good brustle brushes work wonders. I had one body bushing location that was rusted out so I had to repair it This picture didnt turn ous as good as I hoped but this was how it looked after cleaning up the hole some.
