This is a few pics of my car the day I bought it. It was in really good shape for the age especially since it spent its entire life in canada. 117000 kms all original except for the cheesy skull shift knob

pheonix84's 1983 Pontiac Firebird          The first thin that I did was body and paint. I did it myself. I am not a professional body tech, but I am a hobby painter, and I do alright, it just takes me more time that a pro to get good results.

here is the finished product. I painted it the original medium royal blue (not many firebirds left in this colour), but I two toned it with silver so that it wouldn't look so plain, and i think the two tone did the trick. note this pic was taken before it was lowered......ewwww.

I refinished the original wheels using acid to clean up the corosion and a dupli-color wheel paint kit.

I also modified the stock shifter to look like a hurst

The interior is in good shape except for the typical cracked dash panel and curled console cover.I also built a custom audio setup in the rear.

I give you 5 stars for keeping the paint original and not doing the everyday over rated 350 mods its a great motor but not for a car like this i believe a smaller engine in this car is more efficient for handling and gas is tooo expensive now adays to get greedy if done right a small motor will stomp a huge power block every time my car walked a 67 stang convert with the 351 clevland and i only had the exhaust done on my 2.8 i hate that little piece of junk lol i give you 5 stars and was wondering if youd be willing to paint my car when its ready for paint i have this amazing purple almost a chemical burnt purple its gorgeous and will look great with the body kitt i ordered!!!
